American Education Week

November 13th - November 17th

The Book Fair will be in the Middle School Library during American Education Week.  Students will visit the Book Fair with their ELA class.

Literacy Night
Encourage your student to read each night!!  Have them stop by the middle school or elementary school library to check out a book that interests them.

Join Us Friday, November 3rd for Bingo at the Ateaze Center.  All proceeds will be used for HMS PTSA & the National Aquarium's Aqua Partners Program for 4th & 5th grades at Holabird STEM Program  Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door.  Please do not call the school for tickets.

Reminders from the Health Suite 


  • If your child failed the hearing and/or vision screening this past fall please follow up with his/her doctor


  • Students cannot carry medications to/from school (including cough drops).


  • All medication needs to be brought to the health suite by a parent or designed adult.The medication administration from needs to be completed by his/her doctor.

    ATTENTION parents of 6th grade students:  

  • All students entering the 7th grade are required to have the Tdap and Meningitis vaccines

Parents, if you haven't come to Holabird for the device presentation please do so at your earliest convenience.    Teachers are starting to implement technology into their lesson plans and need all students to have a device.
