Seasonal Flu Vaccine (FluMist)

Students will have an opportunity to receive FREE FluMist vaccines at school on October 14, 2015. Our school has partnered with the Baltimore County Department of Health to offer seasonal flu vaccines.  The seasonal vaccine, given as a nasal spray, will protect your child from catching seasonal flu. Outbreaks of the flu can lead to increased school absenteeism and lost days of work for parents.  The CDC recommends this vaccine for all children ages 2 years and older.  Look for the consent forms which will be sent home with your child this week.  This form is due to the nurse by October 6, 2015.  The school nurse is available to answer any questions you may have at 410-887-7151.
