Important School News

On your child's first day, they must bring the signed COVID-19 Health Screening form. In addition, it can be found at the Weis Market on Holabird Avenue and Jalapenos Market on Merritt Blvd. We also have copies here at school for you to pick up in advance of Day 1. Please note this same form will be used for all grades in BCPS as they enter for hybrid learning, so if you have children in other grades, you will need a separate one for each. Please be sure your child has this hot pink form ready in hand when they arrive on Day 1.

Students and families can log in to Focus using the student’s login information in the student portal.  Directions are available and the process can be viewed in a video with words or without words.  Parents may also request a paper copy of the report card mailed to their home by contacting their child’s school.

Good Afternoon, Holabird School Families----
As stated in the BCPS Reopening plan, families who have selected virtual learning or not responded to the return to school survey, will have ongoing opportunities to update their choices and choose in-person hybrid learning. Our staff will be able to accommodate requests, make necessary arrangements and work with transportation (if applicable) to ensure a smooth transition back to school. The schedule below is in alignment with the phased re-entry to school. If you would like to return to hybrid in-person learning, please submit your request at: (link found on our Holabird Website, PTA FB page, and the ALL STUDENTS page)

Please use the schedule on our website and on the BCPS website to identify request date windows and hybrid learning start dates for students. The specific start dates will be cohort dependent (Cohort A- Mondays and Cohort B- Thursdays). Families will receive a cohort assignment message before the first day of school.

Families must fill out a separate form for each student returning to hybrid learning using the school-specific form. Return to learning form links can be found on school websites. A member of our staff will contact you if we have any questions.
Again this is intended for those who did not complete any previous survey OR completed as virtual and would like to change their intention to hybrid.

Thank you for your continued support!
